Join us for an afternoon of fun, food and more.

Learn about bees, moths, butterflies and bats. Speakers include:

  • Kim Chacon, an expert in native bees from Cal Poly.
  • Peggy Burhenn & Cheryl Powers, authors of the book “Pismo Monarch Butterflies: Magic, Myths and Mysteries.”
  • Laurie Edwards, Pacific Wildlife Care. Bats as Pollinators, featuring pallid bat StellaLuna in person. 
  • Cristy Christie, Black Diamond Vermicompost. The importance of healthy soil for pollinator plants and results from her NASA soil project.
