The Future of Space talk was led by David Breda, Cambria resident and lead engineer on the NASA JPL Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, named “The Roman” after the first NASA astronomer and ‘mother of the Hubble Space Telescope.

David shared his firsthand knowledge about this cutting-edge telescope that eliminates glare from nearby stars and enables new data on the 5,756 confirmed exoplanets.  . 

The new technology will determine composition and environmental conditions, including dark matter, perhaps finally settling the question, “Is there life on other planets?”
